Votorola is social software in support of non-party primary elections and public rule making. We develop the tools to enable a radically free democracy based on unrestricted voting, drafting and discussion.

A public bridgehead into a legislature. Members of the public and a legislative assembly are jointly participating in the issue of a proposed bill. Their combined votes are currently divided (57 and 38) between two consensus drafts. A separate tally of the in-house votes (red) tracks the likelihood of the bill's passage should it ever be floored. At present, the house is voting 10 and 6 with some members undecided. If the left were to gain 2 more votes, then the bill would have a majority in the assembly. Weighing in the decision and running simultaneously are the primary elections (not shown), in which the seats of the assembly are themselves at issue. (more on electoral and legislative voting)
