Navigation

• Breadcrumbs all the way down to positions
  • Currently the breadcrumbs go down to network. It would be even better if they went down to divisions past the scheme, into polls, and especially to positions. It is very easy to feel lost at the level of a position.
  • The fact boxes are good. Perhaps they could add in the poll as well? This is the missing piece for a position. Breadcrumbs at the top would be nice too, though.

Templates

• Custom poll templates for Divisions
  • Allow users a one click solution to adding a poll to a division.
  • Prepoluate the template with the information needed to add the poll to te division
• Position template
  • Prepopulate the position template into the link for "My Position"
  • This would mean registering that the user already has a template.
    • SOLUTION - I see this works. If you click away though, then it doesn't work anymore. Only the first time you click.

Data

• Allow encoding of data in poll results
  • Setup RDF types for the positions
  • This would allow a particular poll to have, say, a <result = Policy text >.
  • Allow data types like numbers and text

• Create standard data format for voter list

User registration

• Allow users to have custom names.
  • Get rid of complicated email string
  • I don't enjoy having my email everywhere

• One poll effects another poll
  • How can information from one poll be shown in another poll?

• Transclusion of winning positions?
  • Can we show the description from a winning poll on another page?

  • List of all RDF tags for polls?
    • How can we use these to show groups of polls in a list by tag?

• Categorization of Polls
  • Allow (relatively) arbitrary categorization of polls
  • Allow categorization of users
  • Use Votorola to create the categories (YES!)
  • Allow users to match users to categories

• Proxy
  • Allow pre-determined selection of proxy by category.
  • Area specific "proxy breaking" cycles (30 days, 60 days)
  • Show view of polls as "Proxy" candidate. If that's my proxy, what happens.
  • Help users find and talk to their proxy.
  • Give users a button to see a list of positions from people in the same or other proxy line.

    • Governing or external conditions bounding the poll (This poll is legal because, illegal because. External statutory conditions)
    • Flow through, downstream effects of positions (allow users to draw conclusions about implications of a poll, as stands, and to positions, as stands)
