A vote count is a counting method and account that tallies agreement in the form of votes. A single instance of the account is enabled automatically for every candidate, in every poll. The counting method is formal only; each vote server is free to define its own actual method. The allowance of multiple actual methods and the necessity of a single account are reconciled by the practice of vote mirroring.
