Template:Year

The year template translates an ISO format date to a year. Dates BC translate to 'BC' (though this may change in future), while an empty date translates to an empty string. Usage:

{{year|date=DATE}}

For example:

{{year|date=2031-02-11T22:00:01}}

Yields the result:

2031
