Category:Abstractor

An abstractor is a position draft that defines a region of unspecified content (hotspot). Ordinarily the content is being drafted upstream of the abstractor. Upstream variants will have filled the hotspot with content, while downstream drafts remain abstract till the abstractor accepts one of the variants and successfully relays its patch. Then the content will propagate everywhere, eliminating the hotspot.
