Creates a SegmentPatternBuilder.

Method Detail

nextPattern

String nextPattern(char prefix)
             throws DifferenceShadowsV.Warning

Returns the search pattern for the next segment of the diff commencing at p.diffText.charAt( p.d ). The pattern includes only those contiguous lines that start with the specified prefix. Pointer p.d is left at the start of the next segment, or at p.diffText.length if there is none.

Parameters:

prefix - the line prefix of the diff segment. This is either '-' or '+' for a hunk segment, or space ' ' for a context segment.

Returns:

the pattern, which may be the empty string '' if the current line does not begin with the specified prefix.

Throws:

Warning - if a failure is detected.
