14:08 < conseo> well, writing my bachelor thesis finally, but still not perfect. the machine learning community is moving fast, doing unprecedented stuff. not sure how the future will look like. i have invented some new datatype with my synchronisation, presented it yesterday in front of some researchers, but still not sure how to turn that into something paying the bills and how to acquire good coders/statisticians

14:10 < conseo> more and more insecure times it seems. if you just want to do a career in this area, it is still possible, but otherwise resources/possibilities seem scarce
