10:07 < mcallan> (i was worried about these delays, especially with upgrading tools for new practices.  but just yesterday it occured to me that having a well defined practice (however buggy it is) will free us a little from our heavy dependence on the tools.  we put too heavy a burden on the tools in the past, and now the weight will be distributed more evenly)
10:16 < conseo> mcallan: i agree as long as you don't need to read a handbook to understand the tools. the practices can be explained by the tooling, yet they have to be explicit to allow modelling and reasoning beyond writing software
10:18 < mcallan> conseo, thomas_: it now occurs to me i should try (especially as we haven't agreed to it) to apply the practice to G/p/vohall itself.  i shouldn't be shoving a big doc like this at you.  and it would help in any case to walk through the practice, and not just doc it out of thin air
