04:42 < conseo> i would add a property to the event (which can be empty) like: "irc://freenode.org/#metagov". we can also create a cut-set between voter-candidate forums. i am raising this issue, because it is knowledge we get for free and it can help enormously to reduce calculations/queries to the pollwiki and unnecessary crawls

14:03 < mcallan> sure, since the kicker side has to fetch one or two position pages from the wiki cache *anyway* (either the candidate's, or two persons if there is no candidate) in order to determine the archive type ("pipermail", "joe's irc logging system", "google groups") then it could pass those fetched pages in the event; either the whole pages or just the crucial parts of them (like archive url)
