13:04 < conseo> mcallan: ping
13:49 < mcallan> pong
13:51 < conseo> mcallan: it is just a minor question. in votespace when i hover a segment of the track, then i highlight the "endnode" in votespace as well
13:52 < conseo> i have made it brighter (#000) and italic
13:52 < conseo> alternative to italic was to underline it, on hover.
13:52 < conseo> which one is more consistent/makes sense? underlining feels a bit heavy to me
13:54 < mcallan> i wouldn't mockup the votespace map, just make notes about what you require. i can do the design
13:54 < conseo> yeah, it is important though, because most relevant information is in votespace
13:54 < conseo> sure, i just leave it then
13:55 < conseo> mcallan: is ETA important?
13:55 < mcallan> you can mock it up, but then i will have to translate that back to requirements, so it's easier just to state req in first place...
13:55 < conseo> i leave it out for now, but it has some interesting information in it (ETA for when the resource will be complete)
13:56 < mcallan> req is that user understand what will happen if click
13:56 < mcallan> what is ETA?
13:56 < conseo> estimated time of arrival
13:56 < conseo> weird that you don't know it
13:56 < conseo> i'll name it time left then
13:56 < conseo> "time left"
13:57 < mcallan> i understand, sorry. eta for rac?
13:57 < mcallan> not sure what you're asking, eta is important if someone waiting
13:58 < conseo> yes, but users won't
13:58 < conseo> we can estimate how quick the resource grows to completion
13:58 < conseo> i am not sure if it is important, although i feel it is
13:58 < conseo> but we can do it later
13:59 < mcallan> eta of target, you mean
13:59 < mcallan> sounds like bells and whistles
14:00 < conseo> ok
14:00 < mcallan> someone pinging on skype. back shortly
14:01 < conseo> sure
14:06 < conseo> http://whiletaker.homeip.net/mockups/4
14:06 < conseo> then png files
14:06 < conseo> (i embed them in black xhtml files now)
14:40 < conseo> puuh, learning some bash skillz
14:40 < conseo> :-)
16:12 < mcallan> conseo: too many files there, not sure which is which. i'll wait to read your list post
22:41 < conseo> mcallan: you were already talking with thomas about the problem that after one initially votes one first has to go to my candidates page manually to patch content in?
22:42 < conseo> besides that the automatic wiki template is really helpful
22:46 < mcallan> right, the template can't help with this, because it doesn't know the candidate. problem is, it takes a while for your vote to be counted and for the footings to show the new candidate. but it doesn't matter, because WP_MyDraft pins the original draft (most users will create from an original, typically the candidate's) to the new draft. so you can diff directly from the pin
23:00 < mcallan> in other words, they just have to do as described here, and they'll have the original draft to diff against: http://www.nycga.net/groups/structure/forum/topic/what-about-the-people-who-dont-have-time-to-go-to-general-assemblies-enough/?topic_page=5&num=15#post-11730
23:09 < mcallan> no pin for you, you must have deleted it. or did not use' my'. http://zelea.com/w/User:4consensus_WebDe/NYC/p/malet
