        * cross origin responses are enabled
            - all files of the waycast are served to the Web
              each with a response header of `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` -

            - this header grants to programmatic requesters originating from all network domains (`*`)
              permission to read the files
                ( https://www.w3.org/TR/cors/
            - such requesters include:
                - parts of this wayic that depend on cross origin sharing of waycast files
                    ( `./doc.task` § publication of a waycast § cross origin responses are enabled
                - copies of the waycast stored in your local file system (null domain)
                  and viewed in a browser under a 'file' scheme
