    boundary-path directory
        - The directory of the boundary path: either the boundary path itself if it is a directory,
           otherwise the directory in which it is contained.

    orphan image file
        ─ noun
        - An HTML image file (`.brec.xht`) that is unaccompanied by its Breccian source file,
          a sibling namesake with a `.brec` extension.
