The City of Toronto Municipal Code is amended by replacing section 492-12 with the following:

==§ 492-12. Construction Credits in Lieu of a Green Roof.==
===A===
Where more than the required Green Roof coverage than otherwise would be required by
this Chapter is provided, the Applicant shall receive
construction credits for the additional area, at the rate of 1 credit per meter squared.
Construction credits may be freely transferred and traded among applicants.

===B===
Where less than the required Green Roof coverage than otherwise would be required by
this Chapter is provided, the Applicant shall make a payment of
construction credits in lieu of a Green Roof for the reduced area,
at the rate of 1 credit per meter squared.
